Preschool & Pre-K: 4 - 5 Years Old
The class builds on the skills that are intrinsic in 4- and 5-year old’s, as they are not ready for extended times of concentrated activity. The children continue to refine their small motor skills and concentration.
The “Practical Life” and “Sensorial” materials become more challenging as the children progress.
As the children become more confident in the sounds of the alphabet, they use the language material to begin sounding out 3 letter phonic words and continue at their own rate.
The math manipulatives support the natural love of math concepts and activities that are in young children. These activities include counting, sorting, classifying objects, and experiences with sizes, shapes and sequencing.
